On October 27, 2009, Bare Necessities sets sail on an adventure unlike anything ever offered in clothes-free vacationing.  An 8 day Halloween and FantaSea Fest celebration will be ours as we cruise into the first ever, Bare Necessities, MS FantaSea cruise celebration on board the Carnival Miracle.

As you can see, this is no ordinary Bare Necessities vacation.  It is our first big ship sailing that is dedicated to one of America’s quintessential holidays, Halloween and Key West’s 70,000 person fantasy blow-out. 

In our 19 years of clothes-free cruising, we have found that no one enjoys a good costume more than nudists - And what better than our FantaSea cruise to brush up on your body painting, costumes and merrymaking! 

Key West’s Fantasy Fest has long been regarded as Florida’s answer to Mardi Gras where70,000 people gather here each year for Fantasy Fest, a seven-day celebration that culminates in the annual Fantasy Fest Parade and Street dance. The Carnival Miracle will be docked in port, right in the middle of the festivities, for the best two days of this annual gala, providing our passengers with the best seats and accommodations in town.  Saturday at midnight, the party continues on board as we head to Cancun, Mexico.

Dio de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, is celebrated in Mexico on November 2nd.  Music, street fairs, fun, food and festivals surround this Latin American Halloween honoring the dearly departed!  Skeletons, spirits, tricks and treats will mark our lively Day of the Dead with parties on land and on board.
